I have a Russell Hobbs iron. That I love. That has a special grooved tip on it for going in between buttons.
It works well.
But to me, ironing around one button as a time is tedious.
There is a quicker way to iron buttons.
And it’s this.
Turn the button side of your shirt inside out on the ironing board. Smooth it flat. And then iron over the buttons in one fell swoop.
Do the same for the cuffs.
My mother taught me this. And it’s one ironing tip that has stood the test of time.
