Luxurious Pillow Cases. I was hooked on ironing pillowcases after the first night I slept on one. There's been no looking back. But a customer who has a B&B tells me how he sprays all his linen with his homemade fragrant linen water. Before he puts them into his linen cupboard. I can just imagine how that linen cupboard smells!
I chose lavender water because so many people have trouble getting to sleep. Lavender is known to help with sleeplessness. And many other forms of anxiety.
Try this recipe. Which is courtesy of Cassie at Wholefully.
Use a small jar with a tight-fitting lid.
Add to it:
1 ounce (2 tablespoons) witch hazel or vodka
Note: I use vodka. Because. Perfume is set with alcohol. Which means that the fragrance won't dissipate into thin air.
10 drops of superior quality lavender essential oil
3 ounces (6 tablespoons) of water
And shake well.
Using a small funnel. Decant it into a beautiful glass spray bottle. Cassie uses a dark blue one.

Just a note.
DO NOT spray your fragrant water on the pillowcase. And then iron it. All that will happen is that the heat of the iron will evaporate the alcohol - and - the fragrance from the essential oil.
Spray your fragrant water of choice on the pillowcases AFTER they've been ironed. And preferably where you store them until you use them.
You will be rewarded with a beautiful fragrance when you go to sleep!
