Success. Failure. Struggle. In business. I’ve walked that walk! And built a worldwide business from broke.
Life Behind The Scenes With The Ironing Diva "center">
The Fitz Like A Glove™ Ironing Board Cover And Other Goodies is the hook I hang my business hat on. This accidental, rural business, is a dream come true. One of the highlights of my life. This is my journey through the roller coaster world of business. And the choices I make in how to run my dream of a lifetime.

Business Is A Tough Gig. Challenge Yourself To Do What You Want To Do.
Life is about ebbs. And flows.
It’s a nautical term.
Ebb tide is when the water flows away from the shore.
And high tide is when the water flows into the shore.
I guess more relevant terms for those of us who don’t live near the sea is . . .
Feast.
And famine.
When it’s high tide. Feast. We tend to let things flow.
It’s a warm and cosy comfort zone.
But when it’s ebb tide. Low tide. Or famine. We suddenly wake up. And think. I need to do something. Today. To stop this subsidence in my life.
Or business.
We are acutely aware that we are out of our comfort zone.
You see. When times are good. We tend to slack off.
And when times aren’t so good. We realise we slacked off. And now it’s catchup time. Which is so hard to do.
There is a way to achieve balance between ebb tide. And high tide.
Which is necessary for me to successfully run my worldwide business, The Fitz Like A Glove™ Ironing Board Cover And Other Goodies.
And that is to challenge myself every day. To do what I want to achieve.
I have several books I write in every day.
There’s my Debden diary. Things I need to achieve that day.
My running journal of things that pop into my mind.
My goals book. Which I write in every day.
And my Colplan Planner Diary. 30 days to two pages.
This diary sits open. Flat. On my desk.
And every month. I have a 30 day challenge.
It could be researching a person I want to meet.
A specific goal I want to achieve.
Whatever.
But every month it changes.
And by the end of the year. I’ve challenged myself to do 12 things I wouldn’t have done. If I hadn’t challenged myself to do them.
How do you challenge yourself? To do the things that you want to do?
