“Dear Fitz Like A Glove Ironing Board Cover,
I don’t think I could possibly live one day without you.
Much love,
Renee xo”
There is a backstory to Renee. She’s in her 60’s. Has been a customer since 1996.
She’s one of Australia’s wonderful volunteers. Working without pay.
One day a week she irons for her church. Vestments. Linen. Whatever needs to be ironed.
Four days a week she irons for elderly men and women who are still living in their own homes.
But who need considerable outside help to be able to do so.
And every Saturday she takes her grandson, who has cerebral palsy, for an outing.
She can’t imagine her life lived in any other way.
I’m always touched by the many stories of compassion I hear when talking to the men and women who iron on a Fitz Like A Glove™ Ironing Board Cover.
And it’s a privilege to share this one with you.
Without feedback. Which is the lifeblood of every business. I would never know about Renee. And her enormous contribution to those around her.
